Brad’s long career as a performer gives him a unique teaching style. Focusing on classical training, but also on chords, charts, improvisation, ear training, performance styling, and practice techniques that encourage fast progress. He also is an examiner for the Canadian Bureau for the Advancement of Music, and offers Royal Conservatory Exam preparation.

In 2004 Brad decided to take on the position aboard the Carnival “Funships” full time, and spent the next twelve years sailing the world and entertaining guests in the Carnival piano bars that are aboard every vessel. He is now one of the senior piano bar entertainers in the fleet and occasionally does short runs on various ships.
